Max is Co-Head of our Dusseldorf office and partner in our Corporate M&A product group.
Since 2006, he has advised clients on multiple complex and innovative transactions and projects with a particular focus on diversified industries, life sciences and the energy sector. His clients include domestic as well as international private and institutional investors, family offices and industrial companies.
Most of his work is across borders and jurisdictions. He supports his clients in particular with respect to share deals and asset deals, both on buy-side and sell-side, as well as with respect to joint ventures and club deals. In addition to his M&A expertise, he has comprehensive experience in corporate law and advises clients on questions of corporate governance and corporate compliance.
Max regularly publishes on current corporate law and M&A issues and acts as speaker at M&A conferences.
He is recommended for M&A by Legal 500 in Germany as well as Best Lawyers and JUVE Handbook both of which also recommend him for corporate law. Furthermore, Maximilian is recommended for Compliance by WirtschaftsWoche.
