Francesco is a criminal lawyer since 1993 and leads the italian White Collar Crimes Department.
Francesco is an Of Counsel in our Milan office. He has almost 30 years' experience in criminal law, with specific focus in all white collar crimes sectors. He has assisted leading national and international clients, such as banks, insurance companies and international groups engaged in various business sectors (e.g., telecommunication, food, environmental services, transports, etc.), and natural persons, involved in proceedings which enjoyed great media coverage.
Francesco represented clients in some of the most important criminal proceedings tried in Italy in the last 20 years, such as “Parmalat,” “Cirio,” “Monte dei Paschi di Siena,” “Lodo Mondadori,” "SME-Ariosto” and “IMI-SIR.”
In several decades of practice, Francesco has developed a significant experience also in the sector of “Liability of entities for administrative offences deriving from crimes” pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 (“Corporate crimes”), in relation both to assisting the accused Entities in criminal proceedings and to the creation/verification/implementation of Organisation, Management and Control Models as required by the relevant regulations. Francesco chairs and/or is member of several Supervisory Bodies.
Francesco regularly writes ad publisches legal articles in various specialized magazines in relation to criminal matters, focusing on corporates' liability.
