Practice notes
Shaun is an Associate in the Company Commercial Practice Group. Shaun advises on all aspects of procurement law across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and has experience advising on complex commercial contracts. His experience spans across numerous sectors and he has experience in house, as Legal Counsel, advising on the design of procurements for health and clinical goods and services, frameworks and call-off contracts. Shaun is used to working collaboratively with stakeholders and third parties across multiple organisations.
His recent experience includes:
- drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts;
- advising public sector bodies on all aspects of the procurement documentation including the selection criteria, specifications, invitation to tender, and notices;
- working as part of a procurement team advising on the procurement of an industry leading healthcare solution;
- advising on risks, strategy and mitigation techniques on problems encountered throughout the procurement process;
- advising on the modification of public contracts pursuant to procurement law;
- instructing and liaising with Counsel.
Shaun is a member of the Procurement Lawyers’ Association. Shaun is also a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply which is the largest procurement organisation in the world dedicated to the procurement profession providing a globally recognised standard in procurement and supply.
