Laura is a Professional Support Lawyer and Senior Associate for Commercial Dispute Resolution.
Before becoming a Professional Support Lawyer, Laura had ten years in practice in the Commercial Litigation team at Wright Hassall with expertise in general commercial litigation, regulatory and sports disputes.
She advised clients on a wide range of contractual, tortious and regulatory disputes, including breach of contract, indemnity claims, director and partnership disputes, professional negligence, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding complaints. Laura is also a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in Civil Advocacy.
Laura also acted for a number of Sports’ National Governing Bodies and was appointed to the London 2012 Olympics Pro Bono Legal Panel for matters before the ad hoc Court of Arbitration for Sport as a result of her knowledge of sports disputes including advising National Governing Bodies on matters of governance, selection disputes and disciplinaries relating to misconduct.
Laura now keeps lawyers up-to-date on new legal and procedural developments with training on key topics and supports our commercial disputes lawyers with technical and strategic issues.
