Practice notes

Constantin works as an Associate in the Company Commercial practice group in our Munich office.

His area of advice covers all aspects of data protection and IT law.

In addition, he regularly writes for the specialist journals "Zeitschrift für Datenschutz" (journal for data protection) and "MultiMedia und Recht" (multi media and law).

Constantin studied law in Passau and Munich and worked for the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht). Most recently, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Kassel in the areas of public law, IT law and environmental law. His work focussed on the European General Data Protection Regulation.

Constantin's recent experience includes:

  • advising a number of international clients on dealing with data breaches
  • advising a number of national and international clients with regard to developing marketing methods compliant with data protection laws
  • supporting a leading German industrial company with regard to carrying out machine analytics and customer analytics compliant with data protection regulations
