Practice notes

Georg Höxter is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Hamburg.

His activities include the representation of clients in complex international legal disputes in German courts and arbitration tribunals.

Georg studied law at the Universities of Jena and Tübingen. After his studies he gained practical experience in international legal relations at a Dutch commercial law firm in Amsterdam. Subsequently, Georg worked as a research assistant at the institute for civil law, civil procedure law, international private and litigation law, European private law and legal comparison at the University of Jena with Ms Prof. Giesela Rühl. He completed his legal traineeship in the district of Jena Higher Regional Court. During his legal traineeship, he inter alia worked in the litigation department of a leading international American commercial law firm in Hamburg.

His recent experience includes:
