Practice notes

Manoek is an associate in our litigation and dispute management practice group specialising in corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration and intellectual property.

She advises on all aspects of litigation, and has experience in advising in complex international cases, assessing the relevant legal and business issues, and making strategic litigation decisions with attention for client’s interests.

Her recent experience includes: Assisting a Japanese multinational in an ICC arbitration relating to a disputed termination of a distribution contract; advising in several cases on claims for proper performance in the context of international agreements and/or contractual liability for non-performance thereof, many of which involved litigation proceedings; defending a large car manufacturer in a class action before the Amsterdam district court.

Manoek graduated cum laude in Dutch Civil Law, with a special focus on Intellectual Property Law at Utrecht University in 2017. During her studies she followed two honours-programs: during her Master degree (Excellent Master Tracé) as well as during her Bachelor program (Utrecht Law College). She interned at two well-known law firms. Before Manoek joined Eversheds, she worked as an associate at another large international law firm.

Manoek’s current projects in the energy sector include advising a client on the possible liability of network operators in the Netherlands.
