Emily is a newly-qualified Associate within the Real Estate department.
Emily is a newly qualified Associate at Eversheds Sutherland. Emily has an extensive background and aptitude in sales based or public relation occupations, which lends itself well to client care and building strong business relationships.
Emily has worked in Real Estate for 5+ years, starting her career in Residential Conveyancing before transitioning to Commercial Real Estate. Emily has worked with a number of property developers and has a wide range of experience in real estate matters both in the residential and commercial sector, including: residential sales & purchases, plot sales, new build properties, development work, telecoms leases, infrastructure agreements and surrender, grant & assignment of commercial leases. Emily has worked for both Landlord and Tenants.
In her spare time, she enjoys travel, hiking and cold water swimming.
Emily is a newly qualified associate in the team. Her recent experience includes:
- acting for a property developer in the purchase of a mixed use commercial site, including student accommodation and commercial units- this involved a high level of title due diligence and liaising with the lenders solicitor regarding bridging finance
- acting for the Landlord on the surrender and renewal of leases for units within a shopping centre, followed by the sale of the shopping centre
- acting on the purchase and sub-sale of a number of residential portfolios- this involved setting up a comprehensive data room to ensure all parties had access to the relevant information
- acting for an intermediary Landlord in providing consent to a sub-lease and licence for alterations of an office unit- including varying the sublease to amend the alienation provisions
