Practice notes

Angharad is a Principal Associate in our Inquiries and Investigations team.

Angharad joined the financial services group of Eversheds Sutherland in 2010, having gained four years general litigation experience before joining. As part of the financial services team, Angharad predominantly dealt with financial services litigation arising out of professional negligence claims against solicitors and surveyors. Angharad acted for a bank in relation to the FCA's 24 month investigation into the potential mis-selling of derivative products to small and medium size corporate customers. Angharad assisted with the development of the case management system for this project and regularly led interviews with potential claimants.

Angharad was part of the senior management team of the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry and was based in Jersey for two years. Angharad regularly interviewed witnesses and worked closely with the Inquiry Counsel team to develop the evidence. Since returning from Jersey, Angharad has acted for two clients who have been granted core participant status in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and also represents core participants in the Grenfell Tower public inquiry and the Infected Blood Inquiry. Angharad has conducted internal reviews of client's processes and procedures in order to prepare clients for their engagement with the various public inquiries.
