Jawad is an associate solicitor in our Commercial Contracts team in Birmingham.

Jawad qualified with Eversheds Sutherland as a commercial solicitor in September 2020 having completed seats in real estate, banking and commercial, which included undertaking a 6-month secondment to our office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Jawad assists with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and technology agreements, including supply of goods/services agreements, consultancy and recruitment services contracts, intra-group arrangements and IT systems and software supply and licensing agreements.

Jawad’s recent experience includes:

  • coordinating and assisting with numerous multi-jurisdictional compliance projects, some of which have spanned 25+ countries and include template reviews to establish regional compliance standard
  • drafting, reviewing and negotiating key commercial agreements for a number of UK property development and investment companies
  • producing procurement agreements and supplementary negotiation documentation for one of the UK’s leading childcare providers

Jawad has built up a network of contacts, both overseas and in the UK, that assist and support the efficient co-ordination of multi-jurisdictional transactions and projects. Jawad also supports clients through M&A and corporate support work, providing commercial, IT and data protection advice and assistance in due diligence reviews.
