Practice notes

Jonathan is a counsel in the Litigation & Arbitration department of Eversheds Sutherland, with a focus on white-collar crime.

His experience covers all areas of criminal business law and compliance matters, including multi-jurisdictional investigations, anti-corruption and anti-bribery compliance as well as risk management programmes.

His practice also extends to both commercial litigation and corporate finance litigation related to shareholder disputes, executives dismissals or post-acquisition disputes.

Jonathan advises French and international groups, investment funds, high-profile executives, and public figures, in various sectors such as banking, finance, energy, industrials, cosmetics and new technologies.

Graduated from Sciences Po Paris, Jonathan holds a Master's degree in business law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and an LL.M. from Georgetown. A member of the Paris and New York Bars, he is also a former Secretary of the Conference. 

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, he has practiced during 10 years as a lawyer in several renowned French and international law firms.

Jonathan est Counsel au sein du département Contentieux & Arbitrage d’Eversheds Sutherland, avec une spécialisation en droit pénal des affaires et compliance.

Il intervient en défense dans tous les domaines du droit pénal des affaires mais également dans le cadre d’enquêtes multi juridictionnelles, ainsi qu’en matière de prévention des risques et de compliance anticorruption.

Sa pratique s’étend en outre au contentieux commercial et au contentieux judiciaire haut de bilan lié aux conflits d’actionnaires, à la révocation de dirigeants ou aux litiges post-acquisition.

Jonathan conseille une clientèle composée de groupes français et internationaux, de fonds d’investissement, de dirigeants et de personnalités publiques, dans des secteurs d’activité variés : banque, finance, énergie, industrie, cosmétiques, nouvelles technologies.

Jonathan est diplômé de Sciences Po, du Magistère du droit des Affaires de l’Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas et d’un LL.M. de l’Université de Georgetown. Avocat aux barreaux de Paris et de New York, il est également ancien Secrétaire de la Conférence.

Avant de rejoindre Eversheds Sutherland en 2022, Jonathan a exercé pendant 10 ans en droit pénal des affaires et en contentieux au sein de plusieurs grands cabinets français et internationaux.
