Jean-Raphaël is specialized in Luxembourg tax law and advises a broad range of clients from various industries (real estate, private equity, debt investments).
Jean-Raphaël is an Associate in our tax department in Luxembourg where he started in September 2022.
Before joining Eversheds-Sutherland, he worked as a tax advisor in the M&A Tax department of a Big Four in Luxembourg.
Jean-Raphaël is specialized on tax law matters within both a domestic and cross-border context. He advises regulated and unregulated fund structures from various industries (real estate, private equity, debt investment).
Jean-Raphaël was admitted in the Luxembourg Bar in 2022. He holds an LLM in European and International Tax Law from the University of Luxembourg, a Master’s Degree in French Business Law from the University of Montpellier as well as a Master’s Degree in General Management from the IAE Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management.
Jean-Raphaël has acted on a number of major transactions for private sector clients, including:
- setting-up of investment funds in Luxembourg
- restructuring of a corporate group
- acquisition of a target company
- merger of companies
- reviewing of fund’s legal documentation
