Practice notes

Arndt is a Counsel in the area of Insolvency Law and Restructuring at Eversheds Sutherland in Berlin and Munich.

He advises his clients on restructuring measures as well as with reference to insolvency proceedings, particularly in cross-border situations. In this respect, he is specialized in litigation in the insolvency-related area and advises and represents domestic and foreign creditors, financially distressed companies as well as insolvency administrators in and out of court, especially in regard to contesting payments in insolvency, personal liability of directors and board members in insolvency and in connection with the sale and acquisition of assets of financially distressed companies.

Arndt studied Law together with Foreign Legal Language Studies in English law at the University of Passau. He subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in International Commercial and Business Law from the University of East Anglia, Norwich (England).

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2011, Arndt worked for a law firm in Bavaria specializing in insolvency law and in the Commercial IP department of an international law firm in London. From 2005 to 2010, Arndt also held frequent positions as a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Law of the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) and at Cardiff University (Wales).
