Nadim Kayyali advises clients on corporate transactional work with a focus on mergers, acquisition, buyouts of public and private companies, venture capital and growth equity investments, recapitalizations, debt and equity restructurings and workouts, private equity and mezzanine transactions, equity formation, equity incentive arrangements, joint ventures and other forms of international and domestic co-investment. According to Chambers and Partners clients praise Nadim as being "very smart and practical" and "a pleasure to deal with." In addition to his Chambers and Partners’ ranking, Nadim is ranked as a leading individual in Commercial, Corporate and M&A by Legal500 and also won the 2017 Client Choice Award for Jordan.
Nadim brings broad legal and business perspective and problem-solving skills to all aspects of business. He regularly represents portfolio companies in all aspects of their corporate needs, including structuring, acquisitions, financing of infrastructure and developments projects as well as all general corporate counselling. He currently serves as the Regional Head of the Corporate Commercial Practice group (CCPG) in the Middle East. Previously Nadim served as the lead commercial attorney for Microsoft Corporation in the Middle East and Africa.
Nadim was educated at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA where he obtained a BA in politics, philosophy and economics. He then obtained his J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School, Washington D.C. Nadim is a co-opted member of the Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP Supervisory Board and is a member in both Jordan Bar Association and New York Bar Association. Nadim is also a member of the Legal Task Force of the Middle East Private Equity Association.
