As a Principal Associate PSL in the firm's Commercial practice, Angela has a focus on providing legal knowledge, development and training to colleagues and clients.

As a PSL, Angela is committed to sharing her subject matter expertise to ensure greater awareness of the latest legal developments and how these might impact on clients' commercial contracts and wider business. Angela also takes ownership of contract precedents to reflect best practice and delivers training to new entrants to the commercial lawyer profession.

With over 20 years' experience of commercial contracts, IT projects and training, Angela's career highlights include:

• leading on legal and commercial advice for large scale high-value procurements (including compliance with the Public Contract Regulations)
• working in-house, supporting the Local Authority's response to the pandemic including interpreting government guidance against tight timescales; drafting bespoke grants; joint working between health and social care
• working in-house, advising on governance and compliance and supporting policy development
• delivering cross departmental training on procurement and contract management, including coaching and development of junior team members
• teacher training (PGCE and NQT qualified status)

Angela's clients praise her for being "proactive, accessible, clear and precise" and she is recognised by colleagues for "coaching and motivating junior lawyers and her peers".

Outside of work, Angela enjoys time with family and friends, holidays, camping, learning Spanish, running, spinning, yoga, and theatre.

Angela has a wealth of client experience having worked in house and for Eversheds public sector clients from 2001-2022.
