Practice notes

Hannah is a senior associate in our Human Resources Practice Group. She advises on employment law, advising national and international clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Most recently, Hannah has been seconded to a global US retail company assisting with GDPR implementation across HR workstreams.

Hannah's non-contentious experience includes advising clients on terms and conditions of employment, non-executive appointments, corporate support due diligence, redundancy and settlement agreements. Since qualification, Hannah has gained extensive experience in handling data subject access requests for clients and providing advice on best practice based on UK data protection law and the GDPR.

Hannah's has also managed international advice for a number of global clients. In particular, Hannah has advised on multi-jurisdictional projects including: a large scale business reorganisation and redundancy exercise across 31 jurisdictions; changes to the terms and conditions of a commission plan for global employees of a US based network and cybersecurity solutions company; and criminal liability risks for employees carrying out activities in the course of their employment across 17 jurisdictions.

Hannah has considerable experience in assisting with high value and complex ET cases. Hannah's contentious workload includes unfair dismissal, discrimination and executive terminations.

Hannah often hosts employment law training sessions for clients and HR professionals. During her training contract, Hannah was a Director and Company Secretary of Birmingham Trainee Solicitors Society.
