Franz is a Senior Associate in the Banking/Restructuring Product Group of Eversheds Sutherland in Berlin.

He - amongst others - advises companies from the automotive and aviation industry and the retail sector as well as insolvency administrators in the areas of corporate law, insolvency law and distressed M&A transactions.

Franz' recent experience includes:

  • Part of the legal team advising a social welfare group prior to and during its debtor-in-possession proceeding
  • Part of the legal team advising a large automotive supplier on restructuring measures
  • Member of the team advising IATA in connection with the insolvencies of several airlines
  • Involved in advising the supervisory board of a listed company in connection with the distressed acquisition of its subsidiaries
  • Member of the team advising a mid-size family-run company during all insolvency stages
  • Member of the team advising Alelion Energy Systems AB in the acquisition of the Siemens spin-off Caterva GmbH
