Andreas is a certified specialist in labour and employment law and a Principal Associate in the International Labour and Employment Law practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.
He advises and represents national and mainly international companies in all areas of labour and employment law. Inter alia, he focuses on providing labour and employment law advice in the context of restructurings and transactions.
Andreas mainly advises international companies on cross-border working conditions and provides ongoing international advice. He is your point of contact especially with respect to all labour and employment law aspects of the German-Italian commercial trade.
He furthermore focusses on providing advice to companies in the area of social insurance law, particularly in the context of company audits and subsequent procedures.
Andreas studied at Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and obtained his Ph.D. on a labour and employment law-related topic. He has more than ten years professional experience as a lawyer.
Up until joining Eversheds Sutherland in February 2018, Andreas spent several years working for a renowned specialist labour and employment law firm in Munich.
Andreas's recent experience includes:
- advising and representing a technology group during the implementation of various staff reduction measures
- due diligence on labour and employment law aspects of the takeover of a German textile company by a Chinese group
- advising and representing a credit institution in a process to analyse and rectify the labour and employment law aspects of internal compliance breaches
- advising and representing companies in the gastronomy industry in the defence against considerable additional contribution claims by pension scheme providers
