Practice notes

Waltter represents private equity firms, alternative investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporate strategic investors, family offices and investment and commercial banks on a variety of cross-border transactions and corporate reorganizations.

Waltter joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2022 after 16 years of experience advising private capital clients with a particular focus on cross border transactions.

Waltter’s experience includes advising:

  • Coda Payments on investments by Apis Partners and the acquisition of BAASH, a mobile esports platform.
  • BE C&I Solutions Holdings on the acquisition of a biomass business.
  • A strategic investor on its co-investment with Macquarie Capital on the take private of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd, the UK's leading provider of specialist services to the construction and facilities management sectors, and following partial disposal to Warburg Pincus.
  • Aboitiz Equity Ventures on the US$1.2 billion acquisition from Blackstone/Sithe Global of a majority interests in the GNPower platform.
  • A leading global financial sponsor on its investments into a renewables platform and service business.
  • LYFE Capital on the sale of a 30% interest in a medical devices manufacturing business to TPG.
  • A UK inbound family office on the structuring of an investment platform and follow on investments into UK and European ESG businesses.
  • BlackRock on its sale of Asia Square Tower 2 to CapitaLand Commercial Trust for an agreed property value of US$2.09 billion.
  • Medco Energi Internasional on its acquisition of a controlling stake in Amman Mineral Internasional , as part of the acquisition of 82.2% of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) for US$2.6 billion.
  • A major Nordic family office on the acquisition of a material controlling interest in an entertainment services business with operations across Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
  • Integrated Healthcare Holdings, a joint venture between Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Mitsui & Co., Ltd, and its affiliates with respect to the acquisition of 75% of Acibadem Healthcare Group, the largest hospital chain in Turkey, in a cash and stock deal valued at over US$1.5 billion.
