Practice notes
Yannie Lam, attorney-at-law, is a senior associate of our Corporate / M&A practice. She specialises in corporate law. Her practice covers a wide range of corporate transactions, including national and international mergers and acquisitions (buyer and seller side), private offers, energy, venture capital and private equity transactions. In addition thereto, Yannie advises clients on the corporate governance code and corporate law matters, including corporate governance and directors' and officers' liability.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, she has worked for Allen & Overy and Loyens & Loeff, where she advised and assisted Dutch, Chinese and other international clients on conducting business in the Netherlands and abroad.
Yannie is fluent in Dutch, English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and holds degrees from Tilburg Law School, the Netherlands and Tsinghua Law School, Beijing, China.
Her recent experience includes:
• Acting for Stepan Company in its acquisition of the aromatic polyester polyol business from INVISTA.
• Acting for a consortium of investors on the acquisition of Europe’s largest floating solar park Bomhofsplas.
• Acting for Cogito Partners in its EUR 3.7million Series A investment in digital healthcare provider HomeDoctor.
