Louise is a Partner in our Human Resources Practice Group specialising in employment and immigration law.

Louise has particular experience in advising on the employment aspects of commercial transactions and providing strategic advice in connection with reorganisations and TUPE transfers, both domestic and international.

Louise advises a number of international clients on UK employment law as well as project managing multi-jurisdictional projects. Recent experience includes advising: a US based water solutions business on 3 global outsourcings with lawyers from 41 different countries across the ES network; a European energy sector client on a multi-jurisdictional TUPE transfer with colleagues from Belgium and the Netherlands and a US based technology business on employment status with lawyers from 17 different countries across the ES network.

Louise is also part of the national immigration law team working closely with clients on global mobility issues. Recent experience includes: assisting a multinational client with urgent advice to prevent their sponsorship licence being revoked, advising a US based client on its application for a sponsor licence for its UK business and project managing immigration advice for a US based client looking to move key employees around the globe.

Louise qualified in 1999 and is an experienced Tribunal advocate and has been responsible for advising on complex employment tribunal claims involving allegations of discrimination and whistleblowing. Recent experience includes assisting a client successfully defend a whistleblowing claims.

Louise is a regular speaker at client training events, delivering training on both public courses and bespoke sessions including a series of employment law updates for the Law Society.
