Ling studied law at the universities of Beijing and Munich. She is working on her PhD at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität since 2009. Before joining, she worked as the head of the China Desk department at a renowned Munich law firm and was responsible for German-Chinese legal relations.

Ling is specialised in Capital Market Law, Corporate Law and M&A. She focuses on the advice of Chinese companies concerning their business operations in Germany, in particular with transactions.
