Practice notes

Owen is an Associate in our Corporate group. He specialises in Corporate transactional work including M&A, private equity, group reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.

His recent experience includes:

  • advising Oakley Capital and the individual shareholders of Damovo on the €140m sale of to a US investment fund;
  • acting for Phoenix Equity Partners on its investment in Forest Holidays, owner and operator of secluded eco-cabins and treehouses across Britain's National Forests; and
  • acting on behalf of Assa Abloy UK on the acquisition of Dale Hardware and Excel Architectural Hardware, two suppliers of architectural hardware to builder's merchants in the UK.

Owen was seconded to our Singapore office where he worked on various corporate and commercial matters. Owen has also completed two separate secondments to our Munich office, where he assisted on corporate transactions for German and international clients.

Owen has an honours degree (Law with German) from the University of Birmingham and also attended the Freie Universität Berlin. Owen completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School with Distinction.
