Amy is a senior associate in our corporate practice specialising in mergers and acquisitions, complex international group reorganisations, private equity, and general company law compliance acting for international and domestic corporate clients and investors.

Her experience includes:

  • Advising the shareholders of Grass Roots Group Holdings Ltd, a leading employee and customer engagement solutions company, on its sale to California-based NASDAQ-listed Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc. Blackhawk, a leading prepaid and payments global company, for £90m;
  • Acting for global information services group Experian on the sale of its FootFall business across 11 jurisdictions to global security systems company Tyco, a £38.5m transaction;
  • Acting for Inspired Thinking Group Limited in relation to their acquisition of the business and assets of Connect Advertising and Marketing LLP;
  • Advising Beech Tree Private Equity and the Wavenet Group in relation to the acquisition of Solar Communications Group Limited, including a refinancing of Wavenet with a new £75million debt facility as part of its growth plans;
  • Advising the manager-owners on the sale of Fast React Systems Ltd, a software provider to the fashion industry, to Coats Group Plc, the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of sewing thread and supplies; and
  • Leading on several complex international restructuring projects for global corporates, including several involving more than 20 jurisdictions.

Amy has spent time on secondment at Rolls Royce, being described as 'supremely organised, diligent and a polished professional'. She has also completed a secondment to our Dubai office, in addition to providing ongoing support to the Luxembourg corporate team.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Amy spent over 6 years working in the Middle East both in private practice at a leading international law firm and in-house at one of the world’s best known payment technology companies.
