Practice notes

Ali is an associate in the Competition, EU and Regulatory Group in the London office.

Ali advises on a range of competition law matters including cartel investigations, internal competition law investigations, multi-jurisdictional merger control, and the application of competition law to commercial agreements and arrangements. He also devises compliance and training materials for clients on competition law and ethics.

Ali's recent experience includes working on a major European Commission cartel investigation which concluded recently. He is also currently working on two UK competition law investigations relating to alleged Chapter I/Article 101 and Chapter II/Article 102 infringements respectively. He has also provided advice in relation to various UK and multi-jurisdictional mergers.

Winners of the Global Competition Review award for behavioural matter of the year (Europe). This was for the creative, strategic and innovative work carried out in a non-merger matter before an enforcer in Europe.
