Marco is Of Counsel in our Corporate M&A department.

Marco has twenty years’ experience gained in Italy and in the United States where he has been working for top tier international law firms providing Italian and foreign investors with hands on advice in several major transactions carried out on the Italian and international markets where he assisted companies and governments in several deals, mainly in the fields of real estate, construction of relevant infrastructures as well as renewable and oil and gas energies. Marco led the team of international lawyers advising ministries and clients in the construction and development of major infrastructures such as motorways, train stations, football stadiums along with thermopower, hydropower, and solar plants, wind farms, and LNG facilities.

Marco assisted public and private entities in relation to structuring and implementing public-private partnership and other important public or private development projects, also envisaging the co-financing of international donors such as EIB, EBRD, and IFC.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he held the positions of General Counsel of an information technology company; Managing Partner of the Tirana office of an international law firm for 6 years; and prior to that of Local Partner of Eversheds Bianchini Tirana from 2009 to 2011.

Marco holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University Washington Colleage of Law and certificates in Global Public Procurement and Supply Chain Management respectively from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (“KAIST”) and Georgia Institute of Technology.
