Practice notes
Patricia Meier joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2018. Her main areas of practice are employment law and litigation as well as real estate.
She has several years of experience with litigation in employment law as well as advising national and international clients in the areas of employee mobility, work time requirements, staff regulations and restructuring, including dismissals. In addition, she regularly advises clients with regard to real estate matters, in particular lease agreements, data center agreements and construction contracts (SIA and FIDIC).
Patricia is currently an LL.M. candidate at the University of California Berkeley School of Law (Executive Track).
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, she acquired advisory and forensic experience as an Associate in a small law firm in the Canton of Aargau with a focus on employment law, rental law and contract law in general as well as criminal defense.
Patricia studied law at the University of Lucerne as well as the University of Sheffield (UK) and graduated in 2014 (MLaw). During and after her studies Patricia worked as a trainee lawyer at a business law firm and a small law firm in Aarau. She also gained experience as a legal trainee and law clerk at the district court of Laufenburg. Patricia was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2016.
Patricia is a member of the Swiss Bar Association as well as the Bar Association of the canton of Zurich.
