Dr. Manuel Melzer is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich and is furthermore active in the areas of corporate law and M&A.

He advises national and international clients on matters regarding national and international corporate tax law. He furthermore regularly provides advice with regard to M&A transactions and has comprehensive expertise in the field of corporate law. In all of his areas of expertise, Manuel also represents his clients before court and any other authorities.

Manuel studied law at the University of Augsburg. He completed his legal traineeship at major international law firms in Munich and Frankfurt am Main. He obtained his Ph.D. with a thesis in the area of international corporate law.

Before he joined Eversheds Sutherland, he gained comprehensive experience as a lawyer in the field of tax and corporate law at a Big Four audit company as well as at one of the leading energy law boutiques.
