Dr. Christina Mennemeyer is a Senior Associate in the Labour and Employment Law practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.
She advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of labour and employment law. She has long-standing experience both in providing labour and employment law as well as corporate law advice to companies. Her main focus lies in the provision of labour and employment law advice in the context of company transactions. She also focuses on providing labour and employment law advice to HR departments. Christina furthermore supports companies, management boards and managing directors in drafting and terminating employment contracts.
After the completion of her doctorate and her activities for Prof. Dr. Junker at the Centre for Industrial Relations and Labour and Employment Law (Zentrum für Arbeitsbeziehungen und Arbeitsrecht, ZAAR), Christina joined a renowned commercial law firm in Munich in October 2011. From 2016 until joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2019, she worked, after a spin-off, for another commercial law firm in the areas of corporate as well as labour and employment law.
Since 2012, Christina has been a mentor at the business startup seminar of Munich University of Technology at the Institute for Computer Technology and Computer Organisation – Institute for Computer Science headed by Prof. Dr. Michael Gerndt and, since 2013, she has been a juror at the Munich Businessplan Competition for founders and startups in Munich and Southern Bavaria.

Her recent experience includes:
- Advising an international consultancy and training company on extensive restructuring and reorganisation measures in the DACH region from a labour and employment law perspective.
- Advising medium-sized companies acting in the industrial production sector on the implementation of comprehensive amendments to the employment contracts of the entire workforce.
- Broad experience in the implementation of transactions in respect of labour and employment law, including due diligence processes and negotiation of company purchase agreements.
- Provision of ongoing labour and employment law advice to different (international) companies in the trade, hospitality, health and auditing sectors.
