Candace is an associate in Corporate Real Estate.

Candace gets involved in a wide range of Corporate Real Estate work ranging from data centre occupational agreements to leases, acquisitions and divestments of land.

Candace is also passionate about diversity and inclusion. She is the firm’s Black ethnicity champion, playing an active role in raising awareness of ethnic minority colleagues experiences and embedding ethnic diversity coupled with a culture of inclusion across the firm.

In her spare time, Candace enjoys mentoring aspiring lawyers, spending time with friends and family and going to the gym.

Candace is the firm’s Black ethnicity champion for Eversheds Sutherland and plans events for the firm focussed on encouraging diversity and inclusion across the firm.

Candace also plays an active role in improving lateral recruitment, working with the firm’s HR teams to embed new policies and processes to ensure that the firm captures diverse talent.

Over her career, Candace has presented to the University of Leeds, inspiring aspiring lawyers to reach their full potential.

Candace has acted on a number of major transactions, including:

  • assisting on the acquisition of a data centre to be utilised for a new technological advancement valued at over £1bn
  • assisting a client on the divestment of over 300 stores expeditiously
