Charlotte is a Principal Associate on our Real Estate Litigation team, in our Leeds office. She handles a broad range of commercial property disputes.
pCharlotte has experience in advising landlords and tenants regarding all real estate dispute management matters including lease renewals, dilapidation claims, break notices, occupier status disputes, forfeiture and breaches of covenant.
Charlotte’s recent experience includes:
- providing strategic advice to a multinational technology company on exercising a very onerous break right to terminate its lease early, resulting in a rent saving in excess of £3million
- acting for an international power management company in a High Court forfeiture claim arising from historic non-payment of arrears and breach of alienation covenants
- representing a global office space provider in connection with a £multimillion damages claim conerning disruption caused by the landlord's redevelopment works
- 2020 and 2021 Legal 500 as a ‘Rising Star’
- Recognized “as taking the lead on portfolio management issues for institutional landlords, and
also acting in education sector disputes”
