Charlotte is a Principal Associate in our Real Estate Litigation Team, based in the Leeds Office and handles a broad range of commercial property disputes.
Charlotte’s recent experience includes advising a multinational technology company in connection with a claim against a landlord for the unreasonable withholding of consent to assign, acting on behalf of a UK Power Station in defending a claim for private nuisance and assisting a large cargo handling company in a professional negligence claim against an independently appointed expert arising out of a defective rent review.
Charlotte has also previously acted on behalf of a global asset management in dealing with tenants’ rights of first refusal across their UK portfolios. She is practiced in advising landlords and tenants in relation to lease renewals, dilapidation claims, break notices, occupier status and breach of covenant. Charlotte also has experience advising an electrical distribution company in connection with various property matters such as trespass claims and asserting both statutory and property rights, often including injunctive proceedings.
