Rafael is a Luxembourg tax lawyer and is member of the Tax Group of Eversheds Sutherland.

Rafael has a special focus on tax structuring for investment funds, corporations and private clients. He also advises in M&A transactions, finance transactions and in tax reporting compliance matters (such as CRS, FATCA and DAC 6).

Rafael teaches tax accounting course of the International and European Tax Law LLM of the Luxembourg University. He is a member of the Luxembourg Bar, the International Fiscal Association and is part of working groups of ALFI.

Rafael is a regular speaker in tax conferences and seminars.

Rafael is admitted to practice in Luxembourg

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Rafael was a tax partner in an international law firm. He also evolved in the tax departments of a leading Benelux law firm and of an international accounting firm.
