Practice notes

Hans is a barrister specialising in company law and financial services. His current practice involves setting up companies and trusts, and advising local and international clients on their operations.

He has considerable experience in anti-money laundering, governance and compliance including advising on local statutory reporting obligations and the identification of Listed Parties as defined by the UNSC Resolutions.

Hans graduated with a LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent, UK in 2013 and completed his Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law, London. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2016 as a non-practising barrister, before being admitted to the Bar of Mauritius in September 2017.

Prior to joining the Bar, Hans worked for an offshore management company where his work included the setting up of corporate structures and SPVs, and managing their investments across various jurisdictions.
