Natasha is an Associate in the Construction & Engineering team and focuses on Construction Litigation.
Natasha has experience in assisting and advising on the resolution and avoidance of a wide variety of infrastructure, energy, transport, built environment disputes.
Natasha has dealt with disputes relating to issues such as, changes / variations, compensation events / relevant events, loss & expense, delay, payments and final account and defects.
Natasha has acted on behalf of employers, contractors and subcontractors alike across a range of projects and has experience of litigation in the Technology & Construction Court, Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation.
Natasha is a committee member of the G4C (Generation 4 Change) in Wales, which is a driving force in Welsh construction with a focus on the next generation of professionals who have an interest in the Welsh built environment.
Natasha has presented a number of external construction related webinars, considering and commenting on various topical issues from a disputes and avoidance perspective.
Natasha has acted on a number of matters for both public and private sector clients to include:
- assisting cross-office on an 33m adjudication brought by the Contractor against an infrastructure client.
- assisting on a series of 4 adjudications (within a 13 month time period) on behalf of a pharmaceutical client, resulting in a saving of £5m to the client against sums claimed by the Contractor
- assisting on an arbitration under the LCIA Rules on behalf of an energy client, resulting in a 7 figure settlement
- assisting on a £3.5m professional negligence adjudication on behalf against a multi-disciplinary design team
- leading on three separate adjudications, which settled before a decision was reached
- acting on behalf of a large national organisation in relation to a number of disputes against the Contractor relating to payment, defects and the release of retention across 4 separate projects simultaneously
