Laura is a Principal Associate Professional Support Lawyer in our Financial Services and Disputes and Investigations Group, providing support to FSDI and the wider Litigation and Dispute Management Group.
As a PSL, Laura keeps our lawyers and clients up to date on changes in law and practice, designs and delivers training to lawyers at all levels, manages risk and provides technical advice. Laura also supports a number of our key client relationships and is involved in tailored horizon scanning, briefings and training.
Laura brings extensive experience to her role as a PSL, having spent many years acting for financial institutions on a broad range of high-value complex disputes. Laura has also handled FOS complaints, consumer credit claims, mortgage fraud, professional negligence and guarantor disputes.
Laura also has vast experience in pensions trust litigation, having represented clients at first instance and in the Court of Appeal regarding the construction of scheme rules, rectifying scheme documentation and advising on professional negligence claims relating to allegedly defective benefit amendments. Laura has also handled Pensions Ombudsman complaints.
In 2013, Laura undertook a 7-month secondment to the legal team at a major retail bank.
