Practice notes

Saed is an associate in our company commercial practice, based in Riyadh. He has a focus on project finance and experience working with clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors, advising on all facets of project finance, including review and drafting of project, finance and security documentation.

A selection of Saed’s experience includes advising:

  • the Ministry of Electricity of Iraq on over 2 Giga-Watts of solar renewable energy projects
  • the Ministry of Energy and the Saudi Power Procurement Company (“SPPC”) on the 2060MW Shuaibah 2 Solar PV Project, in Al Shuaibah, Makkah province – the largest solar PV Project in the Middle East
  • Classic Fashion on a US$81m facility by UKEF for the construction of five garment factories in Aqaba, Jordan
  • the Lenders on financing of a qualified bidder for the development of the Mirfa 2 (M2) Reverse Osmosis (RO) Independent Water Project (IWP)
  • China Three Gorges South Asia Investment on the successful acquisition of Alcazar Energy Partners
