Practice notes

Claire is a Partner in our Construction and Engineering Group and is based in our Manchester office.

She is a construction litigator specialising in the resolution and avoidance of high value, technically complex, construction and engineering disputes with experience of litigation, adjudication mediation, domestic and international arbitration. Claire has acted for employers, contractors, subcontractors and professional across a wide range of projects including large-scale infrastructure projects, energy and utility projects.

Some illustrations of Claire’s recent practice include: Acting on a large / high value rail infrastructure contract dispute in the TCC, acting for a civil engineering contractor in a series of adjudications and TCC litigation on a dispute arising from an energy from waste plant and final account dispute for a major housing provider. Claire also has the benefit of her experience of professional negligence claims for design and build contractors concerning defects.
