Raphaël is a Senior Associate in our Corporate/M&A team in Paris.
Raphaël is a French qualified lawyer with experience as in-house General Counsel. He advises on M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Venture Capital transactions, notably in the technology, industrial and consumer sectors.
Raphaël advises on all aspects of private and public M&A transactions, venture capital fundraise from seed to subsequent funding rounds, for both entrepreneurs and investment firms. He advises French listed companies and their board of directors in all their operations.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Raphaël has worked in two international law firms for more than 5 years, and was an in-house General Counsel during 3 years in a listed tech French group and one of Frenchtech Next 40 scale-up.
As a General Counsel he has notably gained experience as Board & General assembly’s secretary, contract negotiations, litigation, IP, GDPR, CSR, anti-corruption (Sapin II), tax and crisis communication matters.
Raphaël representative experience includes:
- Advising on numerous French tech transactions (Doctolib, Mirakl, Contentsquare
- Advising on the sale by Casino of its Vindemia affiliate
- Advising on the acquisition by the Austrian Schur Flexibles group of the French UNI Packaging group
- Advising on the acquisition by Orange of Airtel’s affiliates in Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone
- Advising Medtech on the successful tender offer by US group Zimmer Biomet
Raphaël holds a Master degree in Management from ESCP Europe and a Business law Master degree from Paris-Sud University.
