Practice notes
Caroline is an employment lawyer in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Caroline is an experienced adviser, mediator, trainer and Tribunal advocate. She has a practical and pragmatic approach.
Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has considerable experience as a Tribunal advocate, regularly representing businesses at tribunal and in mediation. Representing multi-national businesses and FTSE 100 companies, Caroline often works on complex and high-value litigious disputes, which frequently carry reputational risk. Caroline’s most recent experience in this respect includes defending misclassification/status claims, a £1.9m whistleblowing claim and a variety of other claims including unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and pregnancy-related discrimination.
Caroline’s other recent experience includes advising on complex business transformation (TUPE, changes to terms and conditions and redundancy) projects, advice on gender pay gap statements, GDPR audits and privacy statements, advising on senior executive exits and employment investigations and a number of multi-national employment strategy projects. She also regularly delivers training at public training sessions and on a bespoke basis for clients.
