Jonas Saladžius is the Managing Partner of Eversheds Saladžius law office in Lithuania.

Previously he acted as the Leader of Legal Services and Head of Tax and Legal Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Lithuania.

For more than 20 years Jonas worked in banking and finance, corporate and commercial, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has led numerous complex legal projects on a broad range of finance law issues, including regulatory and licensing matters.

Jonas acts for both lenders and borrowers in various types of cross-border financing transactions, including large, multijurisdictional leveraged buyouts, structured financing and corporate reconstruction. He is fluent in various forms of structured finance, particularly acquisition finance and debt restructuring. He advised clients on major M&A transactions in Lithuania. 

He is enthusiastic about the power of technology and extensively engaged in provision of fintech strategic legal advice. Jonas is passionate about entrepreneurship and investments in the startup ecosystem and collaborate extensively with the founders, VC and PE powerhouses and other funders.

Outside of advising clients, Jonas has been promoting professional conduct and ethics in legal services, and is actively engaged in activities of the International Bar Association, CCBE and the Lithuanian Bar. For four years he acted as a Chairman of the Ethics Court of the Lithuanian Bar Association, and he is the elected member of the Council of the Lithuanian Bar Association. Jonas is delivering EU Finance Law lectures for students at various universities.
