Victoria is a Partner in our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team in Birmingham, with over 15 years’ experience working within the banking and finance sector.

Victoria specialises in contentious complex claims acting for lenders as both claimant and defendant in various disputes. Victoria is an expert on CCA related issues including section 75 consumer disputes and section 140 unfair relationship claims, and manages portfolios for lenders in claims brought against them. She also specialises in, and manages portfolios consisting of, defended mortgage enforcement claims and defended unsecured debts (including the enforcement of guarantees).

Victoria’s client base is sophisticated and has high expectations regarding service levels. As such, Victoria supports the management of the team in Birmingham, heading up a team of Associates and Paralegals working on several portfolios of work, ensuring that the work is done to a high standard.

Victoria’s experience means she is able to consider how a judge, ombudsman, or regulator might adjudicate a complaint/claim, and is able to skilfully balance the needs of her client’s customers and business stakeholders in order to give rational objective advice to clients. Managing the client’s expectations, and meeting their needs, is of paramount importance. Victoria’s strategic advice will always take into account her appreciation for the wider implications and critical risks.
