Benjamin Schikora is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.

His activities include advising national and international companies in the areas of M&A, Corporate and Commercial with a focus on the technology and retail sectors.

Benjamin has already provided legal services in various complex transactions. Moreover, he has extensive experience in drafting, revising and negotiating commercial contracts.

In addition, Benjamin is capable of leading complex legal projects while keeping the project objective in focus at all times.

When performing his activities, Benjamin always refers to his experience as in-house counsel at a Japanese IT group listed on the Nikkei in order to support his national and international clients efficiently and in a target-oriented way. In this context, he takes a look at both the big picture and the details.

Benjamin regularly holds lectures on various areas of law.

He studied law at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Benjamin worked in the Corporate and M&A practice group of a renowned law firm in Munich.

Benjamin's recent experience includes:

  • Advising Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Schienenfahrzeuge GmbH on the sale of Knorr-Bremse RailServices (UK) Limited and Kiepe Electric Limited to Mutares AG
  • Advising DER Touristik UK Limited on the acquisition of Journey Latin America Ltd. (including due diligence)
  • Advising a Canadian capital investment company on the acquisition of a German software company
  • Corporate law advice to a Japanese technology company regarding the German subsidiaries
  • Advice regarding the equipment of the world's oldest and longest tube network, from the development to the installation, with individual solutions for the entertainment of passengers and the placement of advertising messages (including contract drafting and negotiation)
