Birgit is a Real Estate, Construction & Engineering partner. She covers property acquisitions, construction contracts, commercial & residential development and real estate disputes.

She has worked as a dedicated lawyer in the Real Estate team for Eversheds Sutherland (Austria) since 2018 and was appointed to partner in 2019.

Birgit acts for national and international companies in all legal issues that might arise in the lifecycle of real estate, in particular acquisition and sale of properties, easement agreements, lease agreements, condominium ownership and management agreements. She advises on the conclusion and drafting of lease agreements in the commercial and residential sector.

Moreover, Birgit is involved regularly in cross border transactions of national and international
investors in the commercial sector

She has experience in leading civil procedures with a focus on real estate for landlords and tenants.

Another part of Birgit’s role is advising and negotiating of engineering and architectural contracts and the development of BTVG-projects.

Birgit’s recent client experience includes:

• representing one global leading cloud computing company on an office lease in Vienna (1,700 sqm)
• advising a Korean trust on the acquisition of 20,000 sqm office building “Office Provider” – value 70 mio. EUR
• advising Esterhazy Group on the development and sale of a real estate project consisting of 60 residential apartments, 4**** hotel and office building
• advising one of Austria´s largest food retailer on different lease-, sublease and building lease agreements as well as franchising agreements

Birgit Schleindl ist Partner für Immobilien- und Baurecht. Sie berät Immobilientransaktionen, Bauverträge, Miet- und Wohnrecht sowie liegenschaftsrechtliche Streitigkeiten.

Sie ist seit November 2018 als Rechtsanwältin bei Eversheds Sutherland in Österreich tätig, 2019 wurde sie zur Partnerin ernannt.

Sie unterstützt nationale und internationale Unternehmen in allen liegenschaftsrechtlichen Angelegenheiten, die im Lebenszyklus einer Immobilie auftreten, insbesondere den Kauf- und Verkauf von Immobilien, Dienstbarkeitsverträge, Mietverträge, Wohnungseigentum und Verwaltung. Überdies berät sie in der Gestaltung von Mietverträgen für Gewerbe- und Wohnimmobilien.

Birgit betreut regelmäßig grenzüberschreitende Transaktionen von österreichischen und internationalen Investoren. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ihrer Tätigkeit ist die Prozessführung im Liegenschaftsrecht sowohl für Vermieter als auch Mieter.

Zudem begleitet Birgit ihre Mandanten bei Verhandlungen von Bau- und Ingenieurverträgen (Werkverträgen) sowie in der Abwicklung von BTVG-Projekten.
