Oliver is a principal associate in our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations department in London specialising in litigation and investigations in the financial sector. He has broad experience of assisting financial services clients with high-value, cross-border and/or complex disputes. He has acted on a number of high-profile civil cases in the High Court in England and Wales and internal and regulatory investigations for financial institutions, including a formal PRA s.166 skilled-persons review. His past cases have included disputes relating to: investment advice and the sale of financial products; bank payments and operations; loan repayment and enforcement; fraud and financial crime; market conduct; regulatory systems, controls and governance; insolvency and asset-tracing; pension-scheme consultancy and administration; and the provision of audit services. He is a qualified Solicitor Advocate.

Oliver was previously a transactional banking lawyer for a number of years and specialised in project finance and energy/infrastructure finance deals at Linklaters in its London and Milan offices.
