Oliver is a senior associate in our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations department in London, who advises financial institutions and individuals on complex and high-profile litigation and investigations. His experience includes: advising on litigation arising out of a high-profile Ponzi scheme; high-value loan enforcement raising cross-jurisdictional issues; disputes relating to FCA rules, market conduct and financial crime; pension-scheme litigation; banking and project finance and banking; regulatory investigations arising from the UK and abroad, including s.166 reviews; internal investigations for banks into systems, controls and conduct; a market-leading, FSA-mandated investigation into product mis-selling. Oliver is a qualified Solicitor Advocate in England and Wales and is active within the firm’s internal training programme.
Oliver was previously an associate in the Litigation department at Linklaters where he advised in civil litigation, particularly media/privacy/data protection disputes. Prior to being a litigator, Oliver trained and qualified as a banking lawyer in Linklaters' Project Finance department where he advised for several years on high-profile international project, energy, infrastructure and leveraged finance transactions in London and Milan.”
