Practice notes

Alison is a Partner in our Construction and Engineering Group, specialising in the energy sector.

She has extensive experience of drafting, negotiating and advising on construction contracts (including those based on NEC, FIDIC and JCT standard forms) and ancillary documents for significant construction and engineering projects.

Alison has a particular focus on the energy sector and advises on nuclear, water and gas distribution projects.

Her recent experience includes:

  • advising in connection with the development of the new nuclear power projects at Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C; and
  • advising water and sewerage providers in respect of the contracts for their regulated capital investment programmes and for the maintenance of their networks.
