Simon is a Partner within our global energy group and re-joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2020 after working at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, specialising in wholesale market trading arrangements in relation to energy commodities, route to market and power purchase arrangements.

Simon advises developers, utilities, corporates and financiers on all regulatory and commercial matters relating to global energy projects, specialising in power purchase, grid, optimisation and subsidy regimes for renewable generation and battery storage projects.

Simon is recognised in the industry as an expert in relation to all forms of route to market arrangements within the power sector and associated regulatory matters, including the contract for difference, capacity market and ROC/FIT schemes. Simon regularly hosts industry workshops and drafts articles on developments in the UK regulatory sector.
