Amanda qualified in 2000 and is an employment lawyer advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious human resources with particular expertise in complex corporate restructures, business transformation including TUPE and outsourcing projects and the employment aspects of strategic pensions change. Amanda’s experience includes:
- Advising on the complex TUPE issues for the separation of a large plc; •
- Advising on the TUPE issues arising on the disposal of 73 properties in a Plc’s portfolio;
- Closing the Defined Benefit pension scheme to future accrual for a large Plc affecting 850 Unionised members across over 25 sites where the benefit was contractual
- Advising Severn Trent Water on the TUPE issues arising in relation to their services agreements with suppliers.
In addition Amanda occasionally advises key clients on strategies to manage Tribunal claims. Amanda regularly presents on our public courses to both HR professionals and corporate/commercial teams on TUPE and business change.
