Soundès Mejdoub is a Partner in the Banking & Finance team of our Tunis office.

Soundes is a member of the Tunisia Bar and the Paris Bar. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland El Heni in 2017 as a Partner, Soundès has worked as a lawyer in Paris and London for a Magic Circle Law Firm in the Banking & Finance Department for 7 years and then in Tunisia for a major business law firm for 6 years. She has acquired a wide experience advising numerous local and international banks, financial institutions or structures as part of their Financing operations.

Supervising operations in Paris and London, Soundès worked on restructuring debts and managing financing operations of public and private entities. In addition, she has a significant knowledge in the Oil & Gas sector by advising foreign O&G companies on the acquisition of hydrocarbons assets and the restructuring of hydrocarbons interest in Tunisia.

Her recent experience includes amongst other: advising the large public Tunisian phosphate companies in the restructuring of their debt with major international financial institutions and advising the International Institutions as part of their loans’ projects in Tunisia in different sectors (banks, agricultures, aviation, renewables, etc.).

She is fluent in French, Arabic and English.

Soundes est membre du barreau de Tunis et de Paris. Avant de rejoindre Eversheds Sutherland El Heni en tant qu’associée en 2017, Soundes a travaillé en tant qu’avocate à Paris et Londres dans le département Banking & Finance dans des cabinets d’avocats du Magic Circle pendant 7 ans, et ensuite à Tunis pendant 6 ans. Elle a développé une expérience considérable en assistant et conseillant plusieurs banques internationales et locales, des institutions financières ou structures pour leurs opérations financières.

Elle a aussi une expérience signifiante dans le secteur Oil & Gas en conseillant régulièrement des compagnies O&G dans l’acquisition de biens hydrocarbures et la restructuration des intérêts hydrocarbures en Tunisie.

Soundes parle couramment français, anglais et arabe.
