General:
Jayne is a Partner in the real estate practice group. She has experience in all types of corporate occupier real estate work including, sales and leasebacks, disposals, acquisitions and general portfolio management. She also acts for a variety of lenders on real estate finance matters and provides real estate support on corporate transactions.

Her recent experience includes:

Supervising a team of 8 junior legal advisers on approximately 750 lease renewals and other associated estate management matters for Lloyds Banking Group.

Acting for The Co-operative Bank plc in all aspects of it property portfolio including acquisitions, disposals, asset management queries and group re-organisations.

Jayne completed a secondment to TSB Bank plc. As part of her role at TSB Bank plc, Jayne managed the transfer of legal services relating to TSB's property portfolio from Lloyds Banking Group to TSB Bank plc and established processes and procedures to allow property transactions to continue on a day to day basis.

Jayne was a key member of the team that advised London & Continental Railways Limited on Europe’s largest urban regeneration scheme, the Mayfield development in Manchester.  This deal won the firm “Real Estate Team of the Year” at The Lawyer Awards 2017.

Jayne's key clients are TSB Bank plc The Co-Operative Bank plc, Lloyds Banking Group, John Lewis Partnership and Manchester United Limited.

Water:
Jayne is a principal associate in the real estate practice group. She has experience in all types of corporate occupier real estate work including, sales and leasebacks, disposals, acquisitions and general estate management. She also acts for a variety of lenders on real estate finance matters and provides real estate support on corporate transactions.

Jayne has experience in section 102 and section 104 acquisitions, SUDs easements, acquisitions and disposals and the grant of farm business tenancies.

Jayne managed a team of lawyers involved in the disposal of 20 small sites at auction for Severn Trent Water Limited and has also sold properties for Anglian Water at auction.

Her recent experience includes assisting a partner and associate on the refinancing of 2000 properties and managing the due diligence and carrying out the real estate due diligence on a corporate asset acquisition of an educational establishment with 12 locations. Last modified : Feb 8 2017

Financial Institutions:
Jayne is a principal associate in the real estate practice group. She has experience in advising major financial institutions in managing their property portfolios. Her clients include Lloyds Banking Group, TSB Bank plc and The Co-operative Bank plc.

Jayne also acts for lenders and insolvency practitioners on a wide variety of matters including distressed portfolio sales and management issues. Recent examples include the disposal of a portfolio of 5 multi-tenanted properties for £18.5 million and a series of disposals of 15 standalone properties.

Jayne completed a secondment to TSB Bank plc, one of the UK's newest high street bank. As part of her role at TSB Bank plc, Jayne managed the transfer of legal services relating to TSB's property portfolio from Lloyds Banking Group to TSB Bank plc and established processes and procedures to allow property transactions to continue on a day to day basis.

Jayne manages a number of projects (lease renewals, consent applications and lease reviews) for her clients ranging from 60 to 750 properties.

Retail:
Jayne is a principal associate in the real estate practice group. A significant proportion of Jayne's workload involves advising retailers.

Jayne's recent experience includes supervising a team on approximately 750 lease renewals. This involved working closely with the Eversheds Sutherland real estate litigation team dealing with the court renewal process and uses bespoke IT solutions to assist the team to deliver the project to the client's requirements.

Jayne was also part of the team that acted for Blacks Outdoor Retail Limited on its acquisition of the insolvent Blacks Leisure Group plc.

Jayne's clients include Maplin Electronics Limited and John Lewis Partnership.
