Maximilian Spitzhorn-Stork is an Associate in the Corporate/M&A practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Dusseldorf.

Maximilian advises national and international clients in the areas of general corporate law and M&A, in particular on national and cross-border transactions and joint ventures. He focuses on transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Maximilian studied law at the University of Mannheim.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, he worked for two other German major law firms as an Associate.

Maximilian's recent experience includes:

  • Advising the French investor ARDIAN on the acquisition of a minority interest in EWE AG
  • Advising Häfen Güterverkehr Köln AG on the acquisition of the European inland navigation branch from Imperial Logistics International
  • Advising CVC Capital Partners on the acquisition of a share in DKV Mobility Services Group, one of the leading providers in Europe for cashless en-route supply for the commercial goods and passenger transport, toll services and other mobility services
